A visit to La Cabane Bella-Tola off the Saint Luc pistes is all about getting into the spirit of Alpine Switzerland and embracing the breath-taking views.

Perched on the piste, at 2340 metres in Anniviers, in Saint-Luc, Valais, the cabin style restaurant, La Cabane Bella-Tola is a taste of Alpine Switzerland. Built in 1962 and renovated in 2000 with modern comforts, the building maintains its historic hut feel, and is complete with a south facing terrace offering a magnificent view or an interior with a warm welcome.

The cabin restaurant offers traditional Valais and Swiss dishes, perfect for a lunch mid-ski or hike. The menu includes salads, planchettes or soup of the day in the summer, and Fondues, cheese crusts, röstis, and more in the winter. Save room for dessert and take your pick from ice cream or homemade pies.

Aletsch Arena’s Cottage Restaurant, Horli-Hitta…

Dine with the world at your feet, at the cottage on Eggishorn! Set at 2870 metres above sea level, the Horli-Hitta restaurant offers the opportunity to taste Valais’ specialties in a homely cottage atmosphere high above the Aletsch Glacier.

From the restaurants terrace you can admire the largest and longest glacier in the Alps while enjoying mouth-watering Valais food. Located at the edge of the piste, it’s an ideal lunch stop with access from the Eggishorn gondola.

And when the weather allows it, you can eat on the terrace and take-in a priceless view over the valley, with an incredible panorama of the Dent Blanche and Mont Cervin (Matterhorn), two mountain peaks that together are known as the ‘royal couple’.

Nendaz's Panoramic Restaurant, the Tracouet…

In the heart of the 4 Vallées ski area, at the top of the Tracouet Gondola, the restaurant of Tracouet awaits your visit. With its panoramic views, and self-service or ‘A La Carte’ lunch options, the venue offers a large choice of food to satisfy all appetites—and a choice of inside or outside seating. 

With the restaurant’s easy access from the Tracouet Gondola, it allows non-skiers to head up from the Nendaz village to join friends or family for lunch on the hill—making for a well-liked lunch spot. Along with being a great place to fill up on a good sized meal between ski runs, the Tracouet is also a fantastic spot for admiring the mountain top views. On a fair weather day guests can witness a 360 grad view over the Alps and the Vallée du Rhône, while enjoying a bite to eat.
