Design a Board Competition
To celebrate the success of our freestyle night, Park and Ride, we are giving you the chance to win an off the hook money can’t buy prize.
Ever dreamed of having your very own PRO model snowboard? Think you’re a hotshot with the crayons? Well The Snow Centre has teamed up with HEAD SNOWBOARDS to give you the chance to do exactly that with a Design a Board competition.
The Snow Centre and HEAD are challenging you to get creative and submit your most outrageous board designs. The winner will bag their very own customised board, along with some freestyle passes or lessons to max their new tray out on the best snow this side of the Alps!
How to Enter
Register by emailing freestyle@finncomms.com with your name, age and email address and we’ll ping you back a board template so you can start visualising your masterpiece. Register as soon as possible so you have plenty of time to meet the deadline.
Creating your design
We know you guys all work differently, so we’re not going to dictate the process to you. Use the board template as a guide and work your magic in your favourite design package. Just make sure you submit your design in one of the formats outlined below.
Don’t forget, the judges will be looking for originality as well as design proficiency. It’s for a one-of-a kind board after all. So try and wow us with the most kaleidoscopic range of colours, shapes and text you can dream up.

We’ve got a mixture of old and new faces on The Snow Centre’s judging panel this time round. Here’s who you’ll have to impress.

Deadline and Entry Criteria
All entries must be in PDF, jpeg or pneg format and emailed to freestyle@finncomms.com by 5pm on the 24th November 2009.
Designs should be created for a freestyle snowboard and for the back only. There are no restrictions on design style and don’t worry about incorporating any branding.
All designs will be uploaded to the ‘Hemel freestyle’ Facebook page in a ‘Design a Board’ gallery and the winner will be announced early in December.
