Slope Restrictions & ClosuresThroughout the week
Tuesday 23rd September
There will be one lane netted off for race training. 2pm - 4pm.
Wednesday 24th September
The Main Slope will be closed from 6pm for the Salomon Grom Camp. For more information or to book a place please click here.
Saturday 20th September
There will be one lane of Freestyle Features on the Main Slope for a Private Freestyle Camp and a Maverix Evening Freestyle Camp.
Sunday 21st September
There will be one lane of Freestyle Features on the Main Slope for a Definition Freestyle Camp.
Monday 22nd September
There will be one lane on the Main Slope netted off between 3.45pm - 6pm for School Race Training.
Sunday 28th September
The Main Slope will be closed from 8am - 3pm for a race event.
Mondays: Main Slope closed from 6pm
Hemel Race Club hold their practice sessions and competitions.
Thursday & Friday evenings
There are some Main Slope restrictions as we fence off our freestyle features in preparation for Thursday and Friday evenings Freestyle sessions.

Freestyle Groms Camps24th September
The Salomon Freeski and Snowboard Grom Camps have stormed into the UK's indoor snow slopes and on 24th September 2014 their coming to The Snow Centre!
From 7pm -10pm junior skiers and snowboarders can hit The Snow Centre’s Freestyle Park with the UK’s top Pro’s, coaches and Olympians for just £35.
With limited places, reserve your place now on these awesome freestyle training camps and train with the likes of Pat Sharples, Jenny Jones, Definition Camps and more!

BASP have been providing quality training in Outdoor First Aid for more than 25 years & are well known by outdoor enthusiasts who require knowledge of first aid in an outdoor & remote environment.
The 2 Day Outdoor Emergency First Aid Course is recognised by BASI & other national governing bodies. The certificate is valid for 3 years. (If BASI candidates wish to receive an SQA EFAW certificate to meet BASI requirements please call the office on 01855 811443 to make a £10 payment by credit or debit card. SCQF Level 5 with 1 credit point.)
BASP Trainers are highly experienced professionals delivering First Aid Courses to ensure Safe, Confident Responders. They are able to draw on their ‘hands on’ experience and skills in dealing with first aid situations in the outdoors - this is shared in the practical aspects of the course, on snow or outside. Many are qualified BASI Instructors, involved in Ski Patrol or Mountain Rescue.
In 2013 BASP were been recognised as an SQA approved centre – this demonstrates ‘ready-made’ assurance of a training provider’s competence to deliver appropriate training alongside a high level of quality assurance.

World Class Training First Aid CoursesVarious
World Class Training 2 Day First Aid Courses are designed for those working in the outdoor leisure industry and are recognised by outdoor associations and instructor qualification bodies such as BASI and Snowsport England etc. WCT courses follow HSE Due Diligence standards and also can be approved via OFQUAL if required, and carry credits in line with the UK qualification credit framework. All courses ensure that all training is carried out according to National Standards and with the addition of external verification and meet the high levels required within this very important sector of training. The qualification is valid for 3 years although refresher sessions are recommended each year.
COURSE CONTENT SUMMARY: Role of the first aider, First aid kit contents, Accident reporting, Primary / secondary assessments, Administer first aid to the casualty, CPR, Seizures, Choking, Wounds, Fractures, Shock, Poisons, Burns, Anaphylactic Shock, and other first aid incidents which may require your assistance. The correct use and management of spinal injuries in conjunction with the correct use of a spinal board and associated equipment.
WCT first aid trainers are fully qualified and are involved with various UK rescue services dealing with incidents at first hand, ensuring the training has real life experiences to draw upon.
