We’ve a variety of day clinics available so you can find something to suit you. With a different theme each Friday there’s always something to brush up on.

Clinics are £149 per person including hire of equipment, lunch, refreshments and at least 5 hours of skiing or snowboarding. Choose from the following themes…

Ski - Perfect Blue – Snowplough skiers looking to gain confidence and control on blue terrain

This full day takes place between 9.30am and 4.30pm and is aimed at those that have been through Levels 1-5 at The Snow Centre and now wish to refine their technique further. You are probably spending most of your time snow plough turning and wish to improve your technique and gain confidence on our main slope. This session is also aimed at those who have done a few weeks in the past (minimum 3) and are now returning to skiing after a short to medium break (up to 5 years).

This session will start on our smaller learning slope to refresh the legs and build / rebuild confidence before developing your skills from the top of the main slope.

This clinic leads onto further sessions and Clinics that your coach will discuss with you during the day.

Ski - Passport to Parallel – Confident Main Slope skiers looking to break in to parallel turns

This clinic is a full day from 9.30am to 4.30pm and is aimed at those that wish to refine their parallel skiing and take it to the next level. You are skiing regularly either with our Summer Monthly Passes or have been attending our Level 6 or Skills Development Sessions.

Our coaches will focus on developing your core skills such as your Posture and Balancing skills; they will also help you develop more efficient movement patterns to open up the world of parallel skiing and beyond. Attendees will also develop the skills to blend the various skill elements that produce good skiing and will leave with a far better understanding of their own skiing and what direction they would like to take their skiing in next.

This session will start from the top of our main practice slope with a few laps to get you moving before our experienced coach(es) build an action plan for the day.

This clinic leads onto further sessions and Clinics that your coach will discuss with you during the day.

Ski - Advanced technical tune up – Advanced parallel skiers looking for refinement

This full day runs from 9.30m to 4.30pm and is aimed at those that wish to push on from basic parallel skiing and look at developing short and longer radius turns.

You are skiing regularly either with our Summer Monthly Passes or have been attending our Skills Development Coaching Sessions. You are comfortable skiing at a speed and want to further refine your posture, balance and technique. You have a solid understanding of your own skiing (and where it may be a little lacking) and want to be able to ski with flow and style when you next visit the mountains.

This clinic will develop your shorter and longer turns and how you blend the steering and edging elements as well as dealing with varied snow conditions.

This session will start from the top of our main practice slope with a few laps to get you moving before our experienced coach(es) build an action plan for the day.

This clinic leads onto further sessions and Clinics that your coach will discuss with you during the day.

Snowboard - Freedom to flow – Main Slope all terrain course incorporating some basic flat land freestyle

This full day session (9.30m to 4.30pm) is aimed at those main slope snowboarders with a desire to improve varied turning size. Coaching will focus on developing fundamental skills including posture, balance and effective movements. Attendees will develop a greater understanding of how to blend varied steering elements improving the versatility to board on a wider scope of terrain.

Attendance be introduced into basic flatland freestyle and possibly more.

This day course will give you the added advantage of doing some, off snow exercises to help you accomplish the task on snow. This course will give you the skills to further your knowledge of flatland skills.

Remember, flatland freestyle is expressing yourself on non-man-made features so don’t expect jumps and rails. This is the platform to bring your own freestyle to the slope. 

Our coaches will develop an action plan for the day while you are warming up; this plan will be flexible and will evolve during the day depending on your requirements and also what the coaches observe.

Top 3 FAQsLift Passes

Q. Is equipment included?

A. Your lift or lesson pass includes the hire of skis,ski boots & poles or snowboard & snowboard boots plus helmets. We recommend that you wear warm clothing, however if you don’t own any of these items you can hire clothing from us for £8 and purchase gloves for £10.00 and socks for £5.

Q. Is the slope busy?

Q. What is the age of an adult and junior

A. Anyone 16 years and below is a junior at The Snow Centre and 17 years and above are adults. Our Junior Group Lessons are broken down in a different age groups to improve the quality of the lessons we can provide: 4 years (Ski Only) 5 - 6 years (Ski Only) 7 - 10 years (Ski or Snowboard) 11 - 16 years (Ski or Snowboard).

I can do basic snowplough turns

We offer a large range of Adult Skiing Lessons, Junior Skiing Lessons and Family Skiing Lessons so there is something for everyone. You can take your pick, from the ‘we’re all in it together’ Group Lessons to the personal one-on-one style of our Private Lessons.
